A campaign highlighting the achievements of the female creators in our communities.
Women are a pivotal part of any society. They are the crux and the glue that holds everything together; and through their artistic, cultural, and social talents, we would like to highlight their major roles in our communities throughout a series of conversations about the challenges young female creators face in pursuit of their creative passions.
Black female talents have struggled to be recognized, build their careers, and leave their mark in art, fashion, and multidisciplinary grounds, simply because they are Black.
Despite the gatekeeping, the new generation of Black females have taken the creative industry by storm and are changing its dynamic in full swing! Their refusal to abide by the industry's rules, coupled with bold and unfettered fashion pieces, revolutionary artwork, and voices that travel globally, have made them outshine everyone else! These talented Black females accurately depict how social media can be as diverse as the real world.
These talented female creators are reigning worldwide, reaching everywhere from east to west.
Life for women of color is a long maze of struggles and difficulties and it gives us immense joy that many women are driven despite the hardships, and they are trying to leave their mark in this world against all odds. We hope and pray they achieve their goals, and the misery faced by the women finally ends, and we see a world that is more accepting, tolerant, and open-minded in the future!
In collaboration with DiverseLifeThings, TheHub. Sudan is pleased to announce a new project empowering Sudanese female creators through art, culture and multidisciplinary mediums coinciding with International Women’s Day themed #choosetochallenge. A campaign highlighting the achievements of the female creators in our communities, a demographic that receives a fraction of the already marginal amount of attention received by female creators.
Remarkable female artists and influential figures will activate our digital platforms through a collective conversation about art and culture and the challenges they bring to female creators. The Program brings together a group of Sudanese female artists, influencers, and powerful figures in our communities to deliver a message to their fellow female creators who are in pursuit of their passions in art and multidisciplinary mediums.
